Year 3 students learnt about fair trade and The Importance of Fair Trade in Unit 1. Fair trade is to help poor farmers to get fair prices for their crops so that they can make some profit.

Students were introduced to some of the fair trade products and were asked to create a fair trade logo using candy wrappers, coloured paper and magazines or newspapers for their exit point.

This is to showcase their understanding of fair trade and encourage them to buy and support fair trade products.
