In the last topic of Mandarin, our students from Standard 3 Respect were given a task to create a drawing of their favourite animal that can be seen in the zoo. They used this drawing in speaking & listening activities. 

They learned the model sentences then replaced the keywords with the name of the animal of their choice. 

This activity related students' prior knowledge with contents of the topic and built their confidence in speaking Mandarin.
