The lion dance has been a popular tradition of Chinese New Year in Malaysia. The Chinese New Year will be kind of lacking in festive mood without the deafening clash of cymbals and deep rhythmic pounding of drums that accompany the lion dance.
Our Standard 3 students managed to create a festive atmosphere in the school by making their own lion heads merrily in conjunction with the approaching Chinese festival.
The students did not disappoint their teacher by producing creatively made lion heads and presented them during their Co-Curricular Activity.
Hopefully, these lion heads would bring prosperity and good luck to all for the upcoming year.
