Hands-on activities prove to be one of the most effective ways of enhancing students’ understanding of the theories and facts they have learned beforehand.
To help the students understand how plants make their own food, each student is guided to make their own photosynthesis model.
During the process, our Standard One students learned that plants use sunlight, water and carbon dioxide to create food for themselves.
They also learned the importance of plants to the living things on Earth. It was indeed a fun experience for the students.
