OBJECTIVES :
• To build up children’s confidence in overcoming the fear of standing in front of the crowd
and telling a story/ speech.
• To sharpen their presentation skills and present a story/ speech on their own
with expressions.
Terms and Conditions
1. It is compulsory for all Standard 1-6 students.
2. Students will need to choose a story in any language
(English/ Bahasa Melayu or Mandarin) with moral values for the competition.
3. The duration of the story should be around 3 minutes.
4. Students are required to send the pre-recorded video to the email :
[email protected] by 10.11.2022 (Thursday).
5. The video sent should be the original one without any editing.
6. Students are not allowed to refer to any notes or scripts throughout the recording
process.
7. Students can send more than one video of different languages (BM/ English/ Mandarin)
for the competition.
8. The shortlisted candidates will be arranged to present their stories on stage physically
as below:
• 22.11.2022 (Tues) - English Storytelling Competition (Standard 1-5)/
Speech Competition (Standard 6)
• 29.11.2022 (Tues) - Bahasa Melayu Storytelling Competition
• 06.12.2022 (Tues) - Mandarin Storytelling Competition
9. Certificates will be given to all winners.
