Schools play an important role in instilling the importance of nature conservation and preservation into children, as it is important to the children's development and the Earth's future.

Children are our only hope to save our planet as the global climate crisis accelerates. Realizing that early contact with nature is a crucial part of sustainability education, our pupils have been encouraged to change their daily practices by practising the 3R's–reduce, reuse and recycle–to help reduce the amount of waste we throw away and to conserve natural resources.

After reading an online storybook, titled “We can Reuse It”, the pupils were given a task to make mini dustbins using recyclable materials.

Here are a few snippets of their amazing colourful designs.
