The new Global Perspectives students in Year 10 have already commenced the development of their initial drafts for the Individual Report that needs to be submitted to Cambridge as part of their IGCSE Component 1. They are actively deliberating on topics that capture their sustained interest, ensuring that they remain engaged throughout the extended process of writing and researching.

Prior to this selection of topics, students were required to explore and research the eight overarching themes from which they should consider their focus. These themes include:

1. Belief system

2. Changing communities

3. Digital world

4. Family

5. Humans and other species

6. Sustainable living

7. Trade and aid

8. Biodiversity and ecosystem loss

This comprehensive exploration of themes provided students with a diverse array of options, allowing them to make informed decisions aligned with their personal interests and the broader context of the Global Perspectives module. Subsequently, during the selection process, students presented their work to their peers, fostering an environment where constructive feedback and collaboration played a vital role in refining and shaping their chosen topics.
