Glutinous Rice Ball or Tang yuan (汤圆) are a traditional Chinese glutinous rice dumplings filled with a lava-like filling and typically served in soup. The round shape symbolises togetherness and family reunion,  Traditionally it is eaten during 冬至 or winter solstice.

At Rafflesia International School Puchong, we brought the spirit of winter alive with our magical Winter Solstice Glutinous Rice Ball Activity.  Year 10 students embarked on a hands-on culinary adventure, infusing the winter solstice celebration with a delectable twist.
