During the course of this theme, children will be investigating forces such as friction and gravity. For their Entry Point, students played tug-of-war. We explored different tactics and conditions for the game such as:

1.    With gloves
2.    Without gloves
3.    With socks
4.    With shoes
5.    Without socks and shoes

At the end of this activity, students understood what friction is and how different conditions may be an advantage/disadvantage in this game.
