Dear Parents and Students,
We hope you have had a great Chinese New Year Holiday with your loved ones.
This is to update on the Corona Virus situation, till date there has been 7 confirmed cases of the Corona Virus in Malaysia. The Malaysian Government is monitoring the situation and has already imposed travel bans to cities across Hubei, the central Chinese province.
We are concerned and have our students and staff best interest at heart therefore, we would like to inform those students, parents and staff who traveled to China during the Chinese New year break to remain at home for 2 weeks (3rd to 16th February) and resume schooling on the 17th.
We would like to request your kind self to;
• Monitor if you or any family members have a fever (37.5 and above) or any sign of flu, runny nose, continuous headache, cough, sore throat and a general feeling of being unwell, seek medical advice immediately;
• Keep your child at home if they are feeling unwell.
• Inform us immediately at [email protected] or [email protected] or the school office if your child has been diagnosed with CoronaVirus or Influenza.
• Please obtain a clearance letter from Doctor before your child resumes school.
We will be closely monitoring the situation from official sources. We will uphold the hygiene procedures and precautions recommended by the Ministry of Health. We will be taking the temperature of all students and staff on the 3rd February onwards.
