In Mathematics, every digit in a number has a place value. Place value can be defined as the value represented by a digit in a number on the basis of its position in the number.

Standard 1 students learnt about place values and digit values. They demonstrated their understanding by creating an ice cream cone which consists of the number of their choice in words, place value and digit value. It's a perfect way to enhance the students' understanding of this topic.

Here’s a snippet of their ice-cream numbers!
