Building a solar system model at home is a hands-on way for students to visualise the positions and size relationships of the planets.

At the end of the Solar System topic, our students from Standard 3 Respect were given a task to build a 3D Solar System Model to enhance their understanding and for them to remember the name of the celestial bodies.

The models were built based on their own creativity. Materials such as boxes, papers, pencils, marker pens, balloons, clay, styrofoam balls, paints, colour pencils, thread skewers and cardboard.

They really had so much fun making it!
