Sekolah Rendah Rafflesia Puchong is proud to play its role in building strong national unity by cultivating the spirit of teamwork and patriotism. Therefore, the Department of Humanities organised the ‘Patriotic Week’ from the 8th August 2022 to 12th August 2022 in order to instill the love for nation and to enhance students knowledge on Malaysian history. Numerous activities were conducted for a whole week.
The event was launched during the assembly where students participated in singing the song ‘Tanggal 31’ while holding their handmade Malaysia flag. Upon the successful launch of the event, the week’s activities were conducted during the Sejarah, Pendidikan Islam & Pendidikan Moral classes. Various activities were conducted during the lessons such as creating Malaysia flag using collage method, preparing patriotic cards, painting of Malaysia flag on canvas and also building replicas of iconic buildings in Malaysia using recycled materials.
