Form 5 Students Achieve Success in Ethanol Production!
Our Form 5 Sastera Kemanusiaan students recently embarked on an exciting experiment in the Science Laboratory.
Our Form 5 Sastera Kemanusiaan students recently embarked on an exciting experiment in the Science Laboratory.
Their mission: to produce ethanol through the process of fermentation.
The fermentation method they employed is not just theoretical; it's the very process used to create the alcoholic beverages many enjoy. Fruit juices, such as grape juice, contain a natural source of glucose (C6H12O6). When yeast is introduced into the equation, it feasts on the sugar, producing ethanol (wine) and carbon dioxide in the absence of oxygen.
Stay tuned for more scientific adventures and discoveries from our brilliant students.
