Experimentation is a requirement in the new curriculum, KSSM for Form 4 Physics. Students are required to master the Science Process Skills and making meaningful connection in other subjects for a deeper learning.

Hence, our Form 4 students did the pendulum experiment during Physics lesson. They aim to find out the relation between the oscillation time and the length of the pendulum thread.

The experiment aimed to investigate how the period of a simple pendulum varies with its length.

Students infer that the period of oscillation depends on the length of simple pendulum and hypothesised that the longer the length of a simple pendulum, the longer the period of oscillation.
