Congratulations to our Deputy President Prefect Annabelle Lee, Year 5, who has won the prestigious Young Changemaker of the Year Award, in the category of Community Development/Global Sustainable Goals.
As part of her final submission to the MOE-sponsored event, Annabelle created a video aimed at young people, with practical guidance about how to develop financial responsibility and preserve financial security. With a strong emphasis on the importance of education and the necessity of reusing and recycling materials, she communicated a strong sense of community awareness that impressed the judges.
She has also delivered presentations on Maths and IPC topics to younger students at school. Annabelle was presented with her Gold Award at the Malaysia International Arts Festival this week. We are also delighted to announce that Rafflesia International School was given the Malaysia Outstanding School Award 2019 at the event.
