Another fun experiment by our Year 3 students.
During their 3D water treatment models, they used recyclable materials from home to build and show the different stages of the treatment process. They demonstrated the process starting with the water source, the treatment tanks, storage towers and the pipes that connect the different stages.
Here is how our student, Ker Min Ho, described the experiment:
" I learnt that water that comes into our tap does not come directly from the water source. It goes through many, many processes before it is safe for drinking. I also know now that chemicals like alum, chlorine, ozone and fluoride are added during the treatment process. I appreciate my clean water now because I know that there are people who don’t get access to clean water!"
