Our Standard 1 students were so excited to complete this 'Life cycle' project and it was encouraging to see the excitement on their faces as they awaited for the day to kickstart their work.
The main goal of teaching children about animal life cycles is to help them understand that not all insects, animals and mammals reproduce and grow in the same way. Some have eggs; others produce live off-spring.
The materials being used for this activity are paper plates, pictures, dried pastas, watercolor, glue, scissors and other decoration items. The students got straight to work on their project once instructions were given.
Apprehensive at anticipating the outcomes initially, it was all a relief as they worked relentlessly with enthusiasm to produce the ultimate results.
